(TTI) is a dedicated nonprofit organization with over 50 years of experience in supporting individuals facing substance use disorders. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive continuum of care through recovery-oriented services, including inpatient and outpatient treatment, MAT support, and various pathways to recovery. Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) are needed for part-time and full-time positions at our Allentown Halfway Home facility. All shifts available! At least one weekend day is required.
Summary:
As a BHT you will monitor all aspects of security while offering encouragement and support for our clients, while gaining knowledge and skills you can take into all future endeavors, including: problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, an array of behavioral management interventions, and record-keeping and data collection.
Responsibilities:
Ensure clients are adhering to program rules and expectations Searches of clients and/or their belongings, as well as performing urine screens. Complete safety rounds and inspections of facility Be familiar with and able to implement emergency procedures, as defined in the program Emergency Preparedness Plan Complete documentation in n electronic health record system Keep program leadership informed using methods directed by leadership Dispense client medication and observe self-administration of medication Participate in group supervisions with peers Attend trainings to meet the TTI annual requirements, as well as DDAP requirements.
