Job Brief:
BHT-ABAs are the face of Morris Behavior Coaching! They work directly with our clients and provide medically-necessary behavioral intervention under the supervision of a clinical supervisor. Our BHT-ABAs work in our client's homes, schools, and community settings and maintain daily records of their client's progress. They are an integral member of the treatment team and support the supervisors in creating effective programs for each client.
Responsibilities:
BHT-ABAs are responsible for direct, face-to-face behavioral health treatment with clients (usually children and/or adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or related behavioral health diagnoses). They will deliver skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming provided by their supervisor with fidelity, efficacy, compassion, and ethics while taking ongoing data. BHT-ABAs are also responsible for completing and maintaining clinical documentation related to their billable (client) activities, time and content documentation as needed for non-billable activities, attending required trainings from Morris Behavior Coaching, and for maintaining their licensure and certifications, if applicable. BHT-ABAs must participate in the MBC clinical competency assessment and feedback process, and must adhere to all company policies and procedures, as found in the employee handbook. BHT-ABAs report to case supervisor(s) (BCBA Interns, Assistant BCBAs, and/or BCBAs).
Necessary Skills and Qualities:
Comfortable with children and people with special needs Comfortable with being observed by supervisors Kind, compassionate, and ethical behavior Attention to detail and enthusiasm Reliable and responsible Ability to complete clinical writing/documentation Ability to perform duties on the RBT Task List from the BACB Ability to perform physical movement, standing and sitting, and lifting up to 40 pounds
Requirements:
BHT-ABAs must obtain/maintain the following, at a minimum: Be at least 18 years of age A personal vehicle or other reliable means of transportation High School Diploma Child abuse history clearance PA State police criminal history check DHS fingerprints background check Department of Education fingerprints background check Negative TB test PA 3-hour mandated reporter training No experience requried for BHT-ABA Interns 6+ months of experience required for BHT-ABA Is, IIs, and IIIs BHT-ABAs must complete/show proof of completion of the following trainings and/or certifications (provided and paid for by MBC, if needed): 30 Hours initial

Training 40-Hour RBT course BHT-ABAs must pass initial and ongoing competency assessments. At MBC, we work with young children with autism and related diagnoses. This is an active role (as opposed to a desk job) where we are playing with and teaching young children. $15 - $23.98 per hour
