Training provided for obtaining Behavioral Health Technician certification, CPR, and other ongoing training as needed to support you in this role.
  • Behavioral Health Technician
  • Job Summary:
  • As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for implementing behavioral therapy interventions to support individuals with various behavioral challenges. Your role will involve working closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to provide effective behavioral support and intervention strategies.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data collection and analysis according to individualized treatment plans
  • Implement behavioral interventions to address challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with special education professionals to support clients with diverse needs
  • Work with individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses and/or autism to improve social and communication skills
  • Requirements:
  • Behavioral Health Technician certification (training provided) must be certified prior to working with clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Act 114, Act 34 and Act 151 clearances required for hire
  • Mandated Reporter Certificiation
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in data collection for behavior analysis
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with autism and/or mental illnesses
  • Understanding of special education practices
