POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing psychiatric rehabilitation and support services to clients in need of skills training, symptom management, and resource coordination in the living, learning, working, and socialization areas. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker will conduct initial and ongoing functional assessments, develop recovery-oriented rehabilitation plans with enrolled clients, and provide recovery-oriented interventions according to each client's plan. The incumbent is expected to provide input to the team regarding the client's progress, goal attainment and continued need for such services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Scale 1

• A bachelor's degree; or an associate's degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service; or A CPS certificate and 1 additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service; or a high school diploma or GED and 2 years work experience in human services which must include 1 year of mental health direct service; OR Scale 2
• Bachelors degree in a related field; or associates degree in related field with two years full-time (or equivalent) related experience; or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 18 months full-time experience as Rehabilitation Technician One (Scale 1) within the agency; or high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3 years of related full-time (or equivalent) experience from outside the agency; OR Scale 3•Bachelors degree in a related field and at last 12 months experience as full-time Rehab Tech One and/or Rehab Tech 2 within the agency; or associates degree with at least 3 years of full-time direct care experience within the agency; or high school diploma with at least 4 years experience as Rehab Tech 1 and/or Rehab Tech 2 within the agency; or bachelors degree in a related field with 18 months of full-time (or equivalent) experience from outside the agency; or associates degree in a related field with at least 30 months of related experience from outside the agency.

Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours. Additional program specific minimum qualifications may apply.
