Elle and Me Developmental and Behavioral Services is seeking dependable, compassionate, and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to provide individualized behavioral health services to children and adolescents throughout Philadelphia County, PA . The BHT works directly with clients in home, school, and community settings under the clinical direction of a qualified behavioral health professional. This position is ideal for individuals interested in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavioral health, psychology, education, social work, or human services who enjoy making a meaningful impact through direct client care. Responsibilities Provide one-to-one behavioral health services in accordance with the client's individualized treatment plan. Implement behavioral interventions and skill-acquisition programs as directed by the clinical team. Utilize ABA-based strategies, including reinforcement, prompting, modeling, antecedent interventions, and replacement-skill teaching, as clinically appropriate. Collect accurate and objective behavioral and skill-acquisition data during sessions. Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate session documentation in accordance with agency and Pennsylvania Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) requirements. Assist clients with developing communication, social, coping, emotional-regulation, adaptive, and other treatment-plan goals. Collaborate professionally with caregivers, teachers, Behavior Consultants (BCs), and other members of the treatment team. Participate in required supervision, training, and treatment-team activities. Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance with agency policies and applicable regulatory requirements. Communicate cancellations, scheduling concerns, safety concerns, and other barriers to service delivery promptly. Qualifications Candidates must meet applicable PA IBHS qualifications for the BHT role . Relevant qualifications may include education, training, certification, or experience as permitted under current IBHS requirements. Candidates with the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Bachelor's or associate degree in psychology, social work, education, human services, or a related field Previous ABA, behavioral health, special education, childcare, or direct-support experience Experience working with children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs Please note: RBT certification is not required for all BHT positions. Candidates working under an RBT credential must independently maintain all applicable BACB certification and supervision requirements when such supervision is not provided by the agency. Required Training, Clearances, and Documentation Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain all required employment, training, clearance, and regulatory documentation necessary for service provision, including: PA Child Abuse History Clearance PA State Police Criminal History Clearance FBI Fingerprint Clearance National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Clearance Mandated Reporter Training Current CPR/First Aid Certification 40-Hour RBT Training Applicable health screenings and documentation Any additional training, clearances, or documentation required by the agency, PA IBHS regulations, funding sources, or the client's service setting All required credentials, clearances, and training documentation must remain current throughout the individual's provision of services.
