Job Description

Performs the functions of a mental health technician in carrying out all assignments given by the RN in charge of Emergency Department. Is accountable for all patient care she/he gives in the Emergency Department. Is responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Care and for promoting teamwork among co-workers. Minimum Requirements Good physical and mental health; Minimum of grammar school education, high school or equivalent desirable; Genuine interest in welfare of ill/ mentally ill; Willingness to work under close supervision; Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively; Specific orientation and training for Emergency Department.
