Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with adults who struggle with mental health and substance use disorder. This role requires a strong understanding of behavior management techniques, crisis intervention, and patient care, along with the ability to collect and document data effectively.

Responsibilities :

Utilize crisis management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients during challenging situations. Provide therapeutic support to clients, promoting engagement in treatment and the development of life skills. Assist in medication administration as needed while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with organizational policies. Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to applied behavior analysis and behavioral health practices. Provide safe and friendly transportation for clients. Maintain professionalism and compassion in all client interactions. Handle client-related issues calmly and efficiently. Assist clinical staff/administrative with supportive services during down times. Maintain the cleanliness of facilities. Experience Previous experience working with adults who struggle with mental health and substance use disorders is highly preferred. Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and behavior management techniques is essential. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and experience with medical documentation and records management is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.
