Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health tech to join our team. This role involves front line interaction with clients at the James A Casey House. Responsibilities Provides a positive environment for all house residents, keeping them safe and encouraging personal recovery. Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times Respond promptly and appropriately to all emergencies, notifying the appropriate personnel and supervisors as needed. Interact with residents in a courteous and professional manner. Complete all assigned staff training, attend professional development meetings and attend halfway house staff meetings.
Skills Communication Skills:
Must be able to effectively pass information to other staff and clients in a clear and concise manner.Crisis Intervention:
Identifying and responding to crises, providing documentation. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and patience in challenging situations Physical Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to complete cleaning duties which involves bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, etc. Must complete other duties as assigned This position is integral to delivering high-quality behavioral health services while supporting the well-being of our clients.
