Schedule:
Monday-Friday; clinic hours based on program needs Overview Paragon Behavioral Health, a Division of DTAC, is seeking a dedicated Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support children and adolescents receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services through our IBHS program in Wyomissing, PA. This position combines direct client support with leadership responsibilities, providing guidance and mentorship to Behavioral Health Technicians while helping ensure high-quality service delivery and positive client outcomes. This role assists with implementing treatment goals, leading group activities, modeling interventions, and helping maintain a structured and therapeutic environment. The Lead BHT works closely with supervisors and clinical staff to support quality care and ensure clients remain engaged in treatment programming. Key Responsibilities Provide direct one-to-one behavioral health services to assigned clients Lead and facilitate group activities and therapeutic programming Support Behavioral Health Technicians during clinic and group sessions Assist with implementation of individualized treatment goals Prepare engaging activities that support skill development and treatment progress Help ensure client goals are being addressed when clinical staff are not directly present Model effective intervention strategies and behavioral techniques for team members Coach and support BHT staff regarding treatment plan implementation Communicate client progress and programming needs with supervisors Maintain professional documentation and program compliance requirements Collaborate with clinical and program staff to support positive treatment outcomes Qualifications Required Current Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Experience working with children and adolescents Experience in behavioral health, human services, education, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Experience leading groups or mentoring colleagues Prior leadership experience within a behavioral health setting Requirements Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Demonstrated professionalism and responsiveness Ability to implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions independently Commitment to ethical and professional standards Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams Required Clearances Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check FBI Fingerprint Clearance Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance OIG/Medicare/Medicaid Exclusion Verification Social Media Background Check Benefits 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program Professional Development Opportunities Supportive Team Environment Work Location This is an in-person position based in Wyomissing, PA .
