Position Title:

Part-Time Behavioral Health Technician Salary:

$16.00 +

Position Summary:

Seeking candidates who have a passion and interest in working in the substance use field or behavioral health. The Technicians are individuals who are responsible for overseeing the needs and safety of our clients at all times around the clock. We are looking for someone who has the ability to be nonbiased and is willing to treat our clients with respect and dignity as they hold our clients responsible for adhering to the rules and guidelines of the programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1). Supervising clients at all times to ensure safety and compliance with facility rules during both on-site and off-site activities. 2). Responsible for monitoring medication administration and keeping accurate record keeping of client medications. 3). Responsible for monitoring clients while they conduct their assigned duties of keeping their housing areas clean and presentable. This would include holding clients responsible when they fail to meet the standards. 4). Proper documentation must be maintained to ensure there is a clear understanding of the events that occurred during the assigned shift. 5). Ensure that all HIPAA rules and guidelines are followed when answering phones and interacting with outside guests. 6). Ensures that security and safety are priorities at all times. 7). Ensure that protocols and procedures are followed which would also include notifying any on-call supervisors. 8.) Be an example to clients, maintaining appropriate and healthy boundaries with clients in their interactions and fostering an environment of positivity where policies and procedures are followed. 8). Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

Position Objectives:

Provide a safe, clean, well-maintained, and orderly facility for clients. Demonstrate and communicate knowledge of Agency's policies and procedures. Create and maintain a structured environment for residents. Present and model a positive image for residents. Ensure organization and timeliness of all utility services, grounds services, repairs, and maintenance requests.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Must have a valid drivers license with no major violations within the past three years. Must be able to pass random drug screening and criminal background checks. (Having a prior record does not prohibit employment) We highly encourage anyone who is a Certified Recovery Specialist to apply.

Work Location/Environment:

This position will involve travel to other worksites and local agencies, most within York County. Some trips may be to nearby counties as needed.
