Florida (Remote) Summary The Environmental, Health & Safety Technician will be responsible for supporting Environmental Health and Safety for sites in the Florida Region from Service Orders to Commissioning Projects. This role will include heavy travel within the specified region focusing on visits to the projects and services sites on a risk based approach. Visits will include performing audits, assessments, training Field Technicians on EHS Plan Tools, Programs, etc as needed.Job Description:
Provide day-to-day EHS support for service activities and projects. Support and monitor the Projects and Services operations to ensure completion of EHS Plans. Conduct audits of the projects and service's teams at customer sites to ensure compliance with policies/procedures. Provide immediate direct support to field service employees that work at customer sites. Utilize knowledge of the discipline, analytical thinking, problem solving and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. Utilize internal external sources to provide resolution to any EHS issues. Interface with other EHS Teams for support and guidance. Responsible for obtaining clearance to access customer sites Develop strong working relationship with operational team in his/her scope Coordinate incident investigation and ensure that investigations of accidents and compliance incidents are conducted, documented and reported as required. Qualified candidates would have the following: Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (with Major in Health & Safety as a desired asset) or a high school diploma with relevant experience & accredited EHS Safety Training Courses. Minimum 2-3 years of experience supporting EHS initiatives. Experience in field based EHS protocols Ability and willingness travel at least 90% Desired Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Experience of EHS program development, implementation, and leadership experience with a focus on business segments such as electric power, refining, Off shore or similar industrial sector. High energy, motivation and commitment to take personal ownership of issues and drive them to exceptional outcomes.Pay:
$35.00 - $39.00 per hourExperience:
