Job Description
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides direct support and supervision to clients throughout their treatment at American Detox & Treatment Center. Responsibilities include monitoring client safety, conducting routine rounds, assisting with activities of daily living, facilitating transportation and appointments as needed, documenting observations, performing urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing, maintaining a clean and therapeutic environment, assisting nursing staff, and modeling professional, compassionate interactions. The BHT plays a vital role in promoting a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment while adhering to all facility policies, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements.
