Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Behavior Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with substance use disorder. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques and data-driven approaches. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist in conducting patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate strategies. Provide direct support to clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health. Experience preferred but not required Eligible to become a peer counselor. Experience working as a
BHT/ MHT
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and behavioral therapy methodologies. Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to patient assessment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A compassionate approach to working with people. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
