Duties Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients. Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and medical systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support mental health and behavioral care through crisis management, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and providing emotional support during challenging situations. Support clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, cooking, and activity assistance while ensuring safety at all times. Engage in client communication to foster trust, provide education on behavior management strategies, and support family or caregiver involvement when appropriate. Experience Prior experience working with children or youth in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Background in mental health care, substance use disorder treatment, addiction counseling or crisis intervention is preferred Experience working with individuals experiencing PTSD or other trauma-related conditions is a plus Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Certification in first aid and CPR is required or highly preferred but not required.
