Women's Protective Services of Lubbock Position Overview:

Women's Protective Services of Lubbock is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our Crisis Intervention team. This role provides immediate support and advocacy to individuals experiencing domestic violence and crisis situations. No prior experience is required—we provide training for the right candidates who are committed to helping others in times of need. Shifts (Part-Time/PRN):

Weekdays:

6:00 PM - 10:00

PM Weekends:

All Shifts Overnights:

11:00 PM - 7:00

AM Holidays Key Responsibilities:

Respond to crisis hotline calls with empathy and professionalism Provide emotional support, safety planning, and resource referrals Assist residents and walk-in clients in crisis situations Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and supportive environment Participate in on-call rotation as required

Requirements:

Background in social services, psychology, pre-degree tracts (medical, nursing, law) Strong communication and active listening skills Ability to remain calm and supportive in high-stress situations Willingness to work assigned shifts and participate in on-call duties Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
