A Mental Health or Psychiatric Technician cares for patients with mental illnesses. Works under the direction of a physician and works with specialists involved in mental health care, such as psychiatrists and therapists. Monitors patient symptoms and administers medications. Works in a mental health facility or in a hospital or other healthcare facility.
While working onsite, Crisis Workers receive hotline calls from individuals needing emotional support, de-escalation, or immediate crisis intervention due to suicidal or homicidal risk, psychosis, severe deterioration, anxiety, depression, substance use, etc. Crisis Workers collaborate with callers to create an individualized plan that ensures safety, offers coping strategies, and provides resources. Our Crisis Workers build strong rapport, demonstrate empathy, and maintain professional communication while delivering high-quality electronic documentation of the call interactions.

988 CRISIS WORKER Requires a high school diploma/ GED Base Pay Rate of $20.20/hr., plus shift differential of $1/hr. (4pm-12am) and $2/hr. (12am-8am)
QMHP CRISIS WORKER
(Qualified Mental Health Professional) In addition to answering the crisis line, this position also provides emergency outreach screenings from our call center via phone or video to individuals at hospitals, jails, or police departments who are at imminent risk or experiencing psychosis and in possible need of hospitalization. Requires a bachelor's degree in the behavioral health field (i.e. social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, etc.) Base Pay Rate of $22.20/hr., plus shift differential of $1/hr. (4pm-12am) and $2/hr. (12am-8am)
Additional Requirements:
