Overview Join our dedicated team as a Residential Technician, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals across multiple locations. In this vital role, you will support and monitor individuals in men's and women's substance use disorder treatment centers, helping maintain a safe, structured and recovery focused environment while modeling professionalism and healthy boundaries. Your expertise will help create a positive impact on the lives of those we serve, promoting stability, independence, and resilience. Duties Monitor and observe residents regularly to assess mental health status and respond promptly to changes in behavior or condition Implement behavior management strategies and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff Assist with patient care, including medication administration, documentation in medical records, and supporting treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs Provide patient care by supporting daily activities, promoting positive interactions, and encouraging participation in therapeutic programs Maintain accurate documentation of patient observation, medical records, incident reports, and communication logs Qualifications Prior experience working with individuals with SUD or mental health conditions in a residential or behavioral health setting Knowledge of acute care practices, crisis prevention, and de-escalation techniques Familiarity with medical terminology and patient monitoring procedures Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or in correctional facility medical clinics is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; additional training in physical restraint techniques is preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion Join us in making a meaningful difference!
