Utilize crisis intervention skills to de-escalate situations and ensure safety during mental health or addiction crises. Implement crisis management techniques to respond effectively to urgent client needs while maintaining composure and professionalism. Document interactions accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards. Provide mentoring and motivational interviewing to encourage positive behavioral changes and sustain recovery efforts. Collaborate with clinical teams, social workers, and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive support services for clients. Skills Proven ability in crisis intervention and crisis management, demonstrating calmness under pressure. Deep understanding of behavioral health issues, including mental health counseling and addiction counseling principles. Strong mentoring skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals through recovery journeys. Excellent communication skills, including motivational interviewing techniques that empower clients toward change. Familiarity with social work practices and community resource navigation to assist clients effectively. Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management purposes. Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships based on empathy and respect.
