Looking to hire a full time Nurse Midwife for an ob/gyn practice. Our offices that you will be joining is in Hawthorne, Long Beach, South Gate, Carson, Marina Del Rey, Torrance, and Boyle Heights (Los Angeles). Clinic location will be mutually agreed upon between the practice and incoming Midwife. Women's health experience is a must. Pay will be determined by experience. The physicians, practitioners and other Midwifes are willing to teach anything that the incoming Midwife needs help on. The physicians are available to assist or answer any questions 24/7. There is a great mix of gynecology and obstetrics with focus on minimally invasive approach to treatment and procedures. Patients represent a huge variety of socioeconomic status (from famous patients to low socioeconomically status and everything between). The Physicians, midwives, practitioners and staff are all fun to work with and we create an enjoyable working environment. The new hire will work alongside one of the groups ObGyn's or practitioners on most days in the office. Schedule will be one or tow day(s) of "home" labor and delivery call per week with post call day off and 1-2 day(s) of clinic per week. One Saturday home call per month. The incoming Midwife will have the option of doing two days of hospital call with 1-2 days of clinic or one day of call with 3 days of clinic per week. We currently have 3 midwifes, 8 ObGyn's, 7 PA's and 2 NP's in the group. Please email with any questions.
