2988264123-2 Apply for this job now Job Description As a Certified Nurse Midwife at Vituity in our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will provide full-scope midwifery care from prenatal through postpartum in a collaborative hospital environment. You will assess and manage low- to moderate-risk pregnancies, support labor and delivery, perform newborn assessments, and respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols. Working within Vituity's caring, team-oriented culture, you'll collaborate closely with obstetricians, nurses, and allied clinicians to improve patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to practice clinical excellence while contributing to innovative, compassionate models of care in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum services. Manage labor and delivery in collaboration with obstetric and nursing teams. Conduct comprehensive maternal and newborn assessments and develop care plans. Educate and counsel patients and families on pregnancy, birth options, and postpartum care. Respond to obstetric emergencies following evidence-based protocols. Document care accurately in the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement and clinical practice initiatives with Vituity teams. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to optimize patient outcomes.
