Women's Wellness is seeking a compassionate and skilled Midwife to join our growing healthcare team in Rexburg, Idaho. Originally established in Enumclaw, Washington, Women's Wellness expanded to Rexburg within the past year and is continuing to build its patient base in the community. This position currently offers approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the Rexburg practice expands. The Midwife will provide attentive, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical skills with clear, supportive communication and a commitment to helping patients feel informed and cared for throughout their pregnancy and childbirth experience.

Pay:

$55-$65 per hour Job type: Part-time, with anticipated growth to full-time Expected hours: Approximately 20 hours per week initially

Location:

Rexburg, Idaho Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including routine examinations, patient monitoring, and education about pregnancy and childbirth Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health throughout pregnancy Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's needs Assist with labor and delivery while promoting a safe, supportive environment Conduct postpartum assessments and provide guidance regarding recovery and newborn care Educate patients about reproductive health and family-planning options Maintain complete and accurate patient records Complete appropriate coding and documentation for insurance purposes Collaborate with OB/GYN providers and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes Recognize concerns that require additional evaluation or physician involvement

Qualifications:

Degree in midwifery or a related field Applicable professional licensure and credentials required for the position Previous experience providing patient care in an obstetric setting is preferred Familiarity with healthcare documentation, coding practices, and electronic health records is beneficial Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail Ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and their families Commitment to maintaining current knowledge of midwifery standards and practices
