Our team of four nurse-midwives provides full-scope midwifery care, including hospital-based deliveries at CHI St. Elizabeth where midwifery care is strongly supported and waterbirth is available. The call schedule is balanced, with each midwife covering approximately one call shift per week and every 5th weekend. In addition, each midwife works about three days per week in the clinic, seeing 12-15 patients per day.
Practice Highlights:
Provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecological, and well-woman services. Attend and manage labor and deliveries at CHI Health St. Elizabeth, including waterbirth when appropriate. Utilize the
EPIC EMR
system for documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
