Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description
Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Creative Arts Therapist (Music Therapist) to work at Fort Carson, CO to implement Music Therapy programming that will inform how the creative arts therapies and various healing arts models developed and tested within the Creative Forces Network can be adapted and delivered to Service Members, Veterans and families at designated Network expansion locations, both in person and as directed via telehealth. Develops, implements, and evaluates a music therapy program for patients. Fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community representatives and visitors. Effectively uses interpersonal communication skills to promote a healing environment. The mission of the Creative Forces Network is to improve the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of trauma-exposed military service members and veterans, as well as their families and caregivers, by increasing knowledge of and access to clinical creative arts therapies and community arts engagement. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine.
