Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Programming/Activities Assistant to join our team. This dual role combines the therapeutic power of music with engaging activity planning to enrich the lives of our residents. You will create and implement programs that promote emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being, tailored to the unique needs of those in our memory care community.

Responsibilities:

Activities/ Music Programming Assistant Assist in planning and executing daily activities, including recreational, social, and therapeutic programs. Encourage resident participation in activities and provide one-on-one support as needed. Collaborate with activities team on calendar planning and resident's needs. Create a positive and stimulating environment through creative and personalized approaches. Ability to play an instrument or lead music programming is a plus.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) is a plus. Experience working with older adults, particularly in memory care, is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule. Flexibility and creativity to adapt to the needs of residents.
