Responsibilities may include:

Provide music therapy services to hospice patients based on their individualized plan of care. Assess patients' emotional, physical, and spiritual needs and implement appropriate music therapy interventions. Use music techniques such as singing, instruments, and guided music activities to promote comfort, relaxation, and quality of life. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to support patient care. Document visits and patient progress in accordance with hospice policies and regulatory requirements. Provide support and engagement for patients and families during end-of-life care.

Requirements for this position include:

Minimum of Undergraduate degree in music therapy, MT-BC (or be eligible to sit for exam-with certification prior to start date). Therapist must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation. 2 years of music therapy experience preferred. What ViaQuest Hospice can offer you: Comprehensive training.
