A Music Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving music, instruments, and sound. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description

We are looking for qualified and licensed therapists to join Reset Your Mind, PLLC. We are a mental health practice that offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy. We are Christian therapists that offer therapy in a safe environment and judgement free. If you have the passion and compassion for others and to ensure that others feel heard, please apply. Responsibilities Deliver individual, couple's, family, and group therapy in a safe and private office Maintain professionalism at all times Attend and participate in team meetings Keep documentation and maintain clients' files in the EHR Keep a clean, therapeutic, and welcoming office/suite Acknowledge and respond to relevant clients' queries, needs and expectations Suggest and promote mental health services offered at Reset Your Mind, PLLC Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations Cooperate with and report to administration on any arising issues Apply best practices and sound therapy treatments, worksheets, and ideas as appropriate Maintain license and malpractice insurance Requirements Proven work experience post license Have a working knowledge of therapy treatments and how to effectively apply them Excellent knowledge of the code of ethics, regulations, and laws surrounding therapy services Excellent knowledge of English language Communication and customer service skills Positive attitude User level computer skills Master's degree and appropriate license Preferred Experience Experience as a therapist or counselor Experience in healthcare or private practice
Pay:
