Key Qualifications:
Active National Certification in Music Therapy Experience providing music therapy services in school or pediatric settings is a plus Ability to pass district fingerprinting and background check, as well as a drug screening Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach with school staff and families Compassion working with a diverse student population and adapting interventions to individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted music therapy interventions to a caseload of seven students, ages and grade levels may vary Provide services every other week, typically working with three to four students per assigned day Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans, aligning with students' IEP goals where applicable Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Adjust session content and structure based on observed needs and feedback from stakeholders
