The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision as directed according to established standards and practices. Provides technical assistance and training to students. Completes all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures. Supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department as well as development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent
Licenses and Certifications Required:
AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
Eligible for ABRET registration.
Working Conditions:
Exerts up to 50lbs of force occasionally and up to 25lbs to move objects. Substances
  • potential exposure to hazardous substances, chemicals, equipment, and reagents. Blood
