Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurophysiology Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in neurophysiological procedures, with expertise in performing diagnostic evaluations related to neurological function. As a Neurophysiology Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting complex neurodiagnostic tests, supporting clinical teams in patient assessments, and ensuring accurate data collection to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, contributing to patient care excellence and advancing neurological health. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive neurophysiological procedures including EEG (electroencephalography) and EMG (electromyography), adhering to established protocols. Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and monitoring vital signs throughout the assessment. Collaborate closely with neurologists to interpret diagnostic data accurately. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient responses in compliance with Office policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used according to manufacturer guidelines to guarantee safety and accuracy. Stay current with advancements in neurodiagnostic technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills. Experience Proven experience working as a Neurophysiology Technologist or in a similar neurodiagnostic role. Strong knowledge of physiology principles related to neurological function and anatomy relevant to diagnostic testing. Familiarity with medical terminology pertinent to neurology, radiology, and emergency medicine contexts. Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic evaluations efficiently within the alotted time frame. Excellent understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation during complex neurodiagnostic procedures. SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.

From $17.00 per hour
