This position will support high-quality diagnostic imaging services by performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring strict compliance with radiation safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including cardiac imaging studies. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality. Follow all radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and the public. Verify patient information, medical history, and imaging orders prior to procedures. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate and complete patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic services. Follow established medical, regulatory, and departmental protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment. Work efficiently in a mobile imaging environment and adapt to different healthcare facility settings as needed. Qualifications Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety practices. Experience handling and administering radiopharmaceuticals. Proficiency in performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures. Knowledge of patient care principles, medical protocols, and diagnostic imaging practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a healthcare team. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Cardiac imaging experience is preferred. Experience working in a mobile imaging environment is a plus. Strong communication and patient-care skills.
