Job Description
Description The Department of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology is actively recruiting an experienced Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist to play a critical role in advancing our diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities. As a core member of our allied health team, you will utilize Nuclear Medicine Technology to conduct detailed assessments of anatomical and physiological conditions, supporting the highest standards of patient care. In this role, you will: Engage directly with patients through interviews, education, and care throughout their procedures. Prepare, calibrate, and perform rigorous quality control on radiopharmaceutical compounds, ensuring accuracy and safety. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and, under physician supervision, adjunctive medications. Execute a wide range of imaging and therapeutic procedures, applying expertise in computer-based image processing and enhancement. Perform laboratory testing in support of diagnostic and therapeutic protocols. Apply deep knowledge of radiation physics and safety regulations to minimize exposure and uphold ALARA standards for patients, colleagues, the public, and yourself. This position requires a high level of technical proficiency, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care. Your expertise in the effective use of radionuclides and commitment to safety will make you an essential contributor to both our department and the patients we serve.
