Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in nuclear medicine imaging and healthcare technology to a high-performing medical team. In this contract role, you will play an integral part in providing quality patient care through precise imaging procedures, supporting both physicians and patients in diagnostic and treatment planning.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N) Demonstrated experience with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and protocols Proficiency in PET/CT, SPECT, and related instrumentation Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and compliance with regulatory standards Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment BLS or CPR certification (preferred)
Schedule:
Full-time hours; specifics of shifts to be discussed during interview
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals Ensure accurate imaging acquisition and optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Operate imaging equipment and maintain strict compliance with quality assurance and infection control guidelines Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinical professionals for test result interpretation and case management Maintain thorough, accurate patient records and documentation per department protocol Participate in routine equipment checks and assist with troubleshooting technical issues
