LaFayette, LA Responsibilities:

Treats all patients with dignity, respect and preserves patient privacy; provides direct patient care. Prepares consent forms and assists with patients on both nuclear medicine and PET daily schedules. Provides patient education on procedure to be performed; obtains informed consent. Carries out physician's orders; assists with various aspects of the nuclear medicine examination, including IV injection and stress treadmill operation. Documents EMR timely of each examination. Assists with patient scheduling; ensures proper insurance authorization obtained prior to performance of exam. Adheres to

OSHA PPE

& company safety guidelines in providing patient care; maintains clean exam rooms and equipment. Performs nursing function and other duties outside of department in absence of patient exams. Maintains and re-stocks clinical supplies; notifies appropriate personnel of inventory for purchasing. Perform any other services deemed reasonable by physician or supervisor.

Requirements:

Active LA nursing licensure or Certified Medical Assistant

BLS & ACLS
