Jackson Health Professionals is seeking a dedicated Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team. This role involves using sophisticated imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat diseases while traveling to various healthcare facilities. Ideal candidates should be highly skilled and ready to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Operate nuclear medicine equipment to create images of structures in the body that are needed for diagnosis Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients Monitor patients' conditions and reactions, reporting abnormal signs to medical staff Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure to staff and patients Maintain equipment and coordinate with healthcare facilities for its proper use and storage Document all procedures and maintain patient records according to regulatory requirements Travel to various healthcare facilities as assigned Required Skills Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine technology Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage time effectively and multitask efficiently Capability to strictly adhere to health and safety regulations
