1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and at least 1 year of specialty experience to support general nuclear medicine, PET, and cardiac studies. Details Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department covering general nuclear medicine, PET, and cardiac studies Department also performs therapies including Y90, Lutathera, and Pluvicto Unit doses provided daily by an outside radiopharmacy Normal department operating hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Daily duties include QA, venipuncture, and scheduled exam protocol review Uses PACS and PET equipment Epic and Cerner charting experience preferred No floating to other hospitals or affiliate facilities unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer Requirements ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required at time of hire; license required if applicable BLS certification required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Experience with bone scans, whole body and limited studies, and 3-phase imaging Experience with myocardial studies including adenosine infusion and pharmacological/exercise stress testing Experience with SPECT imaging including bone, renal, and liver studies Experience with thyroid studies, uptake scans, and cancer surveys Experience with renal flow, perfusion, and lasix renal studies Experience with lung scans including perfusion and ventilation/perfusion studies PET scan experience required Experience starting and maintaining IVs GE equipment experience preferred Brain scan and cerebral blood flow experience preferred Sestamibi parathyroid scan experience preferred ER, adult ICU, phlebotomy, radiation therapy planning, Y90, Lutathera, and Pluvicto experience preferred Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred References required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate Local candidates are not accepted First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Background check policy allows case-by-case approval for candidates with license or background hits Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before being eligible for this assignment Available start date and RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
