Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging supporting patient care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to utilize advanced nuclear medicine techniques and directly impact the health and well-being of patients in a dynamic clinical setting.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM 40 hours per week On-call rotation every third weekend, 7:00 AM-2:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday) 75% holiday coverage required No floating to other departments
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience in nuclear medicine technology Current certification (CNMT or ARRT [N]) Active and unrestricted professional license Working knowledge of imaging equipment and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies using nuclear medicine technologies Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and physician orders Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure high-quality images and optimal patient care Safeguard patient safety through careful monitoring and adherence to radiation safety standards Accurately document procedures, results, and patient information in appropriate medical records Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all imaging equipment and workspaces Provide responsive on-call support as scheduled This role invites you to expand your clinical skills and make a meaningful difference in patient diagnostics.
