Job Description

Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs various radiology services and duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures at a technical level and is self-directed in that area. Performs supervision over diagnostic and therapeutic procedures employing the invivo administration of radionuclides. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply acquired radiation knowledge for radiologic diagnosis. Assures responsibility for supervising ancillary personnel and students assigned within the department. Activates repairs and controls work process within those areas of designated responsibility. Processes information on the Center's Health Information System as required in performing job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology; current licensure as ARRT and/or CNMT Registered with four years of experience in general nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology; and two years experience in a lead role management position. Pursues programs of continuing education consistent with requirements of ARRT, CNMT and Granville Medical Center.
