Job Description
You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The primary responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing cardiac imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety under the direction of a physician. Key Responsibilities Administers and prepares radiopharmaceuticals, performs cardiac imaging procedures, calculates radiation dosages, processes results, and ensures patient safety under physician direction. Performs quality control, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of imaging, laboratory, and radioisotope equipment following radiation safety and regulatory requirements. Maintains accurate documentation, inventories, backups, inspections, and compliance records; ensures the mobile unit is clean and organized, and communicates issues to providers, supervisors, and Corporate. Qualifications Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Cardiac Experience preferred. Skills Proficient in nuclear medicine technology and cardiac imaging procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
