1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM, requiring ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification and experience with PET/CT imaging. Details Located on the 1st floor Radiology department of a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah Specialty focus in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging Common diagnoses and treatments include cardiac, bone, and gallbladder studies Equipment includes a GE 5-Ring
PET/CT, GE
Hawkeye SPECT/CT, and a
GE 830 SPECT
Camera (currently being installed) EMR is Cerner Monday-Friday day shift, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM Periodic on-call required every 3rd week, typically 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM, covering weekdays and/or weekends Float requirement within Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Requirements ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT certification required BLS certification required (AHA only) NM state license required if applicable Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program 1-2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required Proficiency with IV access and post-processing procedures required 2 professional references required for consideration US Social Security Number required for consideration Additional Information Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging studies including cardiac, bone, and gallbladder procedures The facility is a Level III trauma center that receives Trauma Level I, II, and III cases via air transport due to its regional location Hospital services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, oncology, nephrology, pediatrics, behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging Farmington, NM is located in the San Juan River Valley and offers outdoor recreation including hiking, kayaking, and access to six National Parks, with Durango, CO approximately 1 hour away
