Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET/CT to join our team. In this role, you will perform advanced PET/CT imaging procedures to support the detection, staging, and monitoring of cancer, with a primary focus on prostate cancer (e.g., PSMA PET imaging). You'll work in close collaboration with oncologists and imaging specialists to ensure accurate diagnostics, optimal patient care, and adherence to radiation safety protocols .

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans using clinical protocols, with a focus on prostate cancer imaging. Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Educate and guide patients through imaging procedures with empathy and professionalism. Evaluate image quality and ensure proper fusion of PET and CT data sets. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, radiopharmaceutical usage, and regulatory logs. Perform daily equipment quality checks and maintain hot lab operations. Ensure compliance with NRC, State of Nevada, OSHA, and clinic policies. Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff, and self. Collaborate with oncologists and radiologists for timely and accurate image interpretation. Qualifications:

Required:

Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Associate or Bachelor's degree). Certification by one or more of the following: ARRT (N) NMTCB (CNMT) Valid State of Nevada Nuclear Medicine Technologist license. BLS certification (American Heart Association). At least 1 year of PET/CT experience .

Preferred:

Certification in

ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT). Experience with

PSMA PET

imaging and other prostate-specific tracers. Familiarity with Siemens or

GE PET/CT

systems. Experience in oncology-focused imaging or outpatient cancer centers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient care.
