This is a day shift role - hours are Mon to Fri 10 AM to 6 PM. This position requires a technician who is dually licensed in both Nuc Med and CT. Responsibilities for Nuclear Medicine Technician Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures such as PET scans and SPECT scans. Operate sophisticated medical imaging equipment, including PET scanners, SPECT scanners, CT, and DEXA scan devices. Ensure adherence to radiation safety procedures and implement protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself. Assist with patient positioning, immobilization, and comfort during imaging procedures. Maintain accurate records within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images that meet clinical standards. Educate patients regarding procedures, safety measures, and post-procedure care. Follow aseptic techniques during invasive procedures such as IV insertions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results accurately. Maintain proficiency in operating various medical imaging equipment and stay updated on technological advancements. Uphold compliance with all radiation safety regulations and institutional policies. Requirements for Nuclear Medicine Technician Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from NMTCB Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred ARRT Certification Nuc Med Tech and CT 1 year of experience working as a Nuc Med Tech Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment such as CT scanners and SPECT systems. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and implementing safety protocols effectively. Ability to perform IV insertions with precision and aseptic technique. Basic life support (BLS) certification or higher is required. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Demonstrated technical proficiency in medical imaging technology and picture archiving systems (PACS). #IND123
