Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Nuclear Med. Technician must perform all nuclear procedures adequately and professionally.
RESPONSIBLITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
1. Demonstrates the ability to perform all nuclear exams adequately. 2. Displays knowledge to operate all nuclear equipment. 3. Maintains ability to evaluate films. 4. Assumes care for special patient needs and medical conditions. 5. Assists the Physician with Imaging procedures as needed. 6. Maintains current licensure and keeps current on continuing education as required by position. 7. Able to use PACS and other equipment 8. Notifies SV if equipment malfunctions and utilizes safety devices. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. Associate's degree in Nuclear or Certificate in Nuclear. 2. Current ARRT or NMTBC and ODH licensure. 3. BLS certification is required 4. At least one year of experience preferred.

1. Cooperates well with other staff and management personnel. 2. Must have flexibility in accepting varied hours and shifts according to the needs of the department. 3. Balances the need to complete individual work with overall team, department, or hospital needs and goals. 4. Demonstrates a commitment to meeting patients' needs and expectations. 5. Projects a professional appearance at all times.
