5x8 Days Are you a skilled Nuclear Medical Technician eager to make a meaningful impact in patient care? As a Nuclear Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients by applying radionuclides and performing nuclear medicine procedures. Your professional judgment and dedication to medical ethics will ensure the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction.
You will be responsible for:
Performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and corroborating patient clinical history with procedures Preparing patients for procedures and providing instructions to minimize anxiety Selecting and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment Positioning patients and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest Administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications as prescribed Evaluating images for technical quality and ensuring proper identification Practicing aseptic techniques and initiating basic life support when necessary Maintaining records and providing input for equipment purchase decisions Providing practical instruction for students and participating in quality assessment plans To be successful in this role, you should have: Associate or bachelor's degree from a nuclear medicine accredited program OBMI and ARRT registration as a nuclear medicine technologist Current BLS certification Need 2 years experience in setting Strong physical and sensory abilities as outlined in the job requirements Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
