Hospital located near Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full-time, Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team!
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description:
Full-time, direct hire opportunity MonFri schedule, day shift Great radiology leadership and administration team! Perform nuclear medicine procedures with exceptional care and compassion for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate specialized imaging equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain and perform routine quality control checks on equipment to ensure accurate results and safety standards are met. Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N). South Carolina state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field (preferred).
