Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist, specializing in Imaging - Nuclear Medicine. The selected professional will play a key role in supporting accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care through expert imaging techniques.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or equivalent) Proven expertise in nuclear medicine imaging procedures and protocols Familiarity with modern imaging equipment and relevant software applications Strong understanding of radiation safety and compliance standards in a healthcare setting Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
Schedule:
Contract position with duration specified by facility Flexibility for shifts, including potential evenings or weekends, as operational needs require
Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for imaging or therapeutic purposes under physician direction Conduct high-quality nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging procedures Operate imaging devices and process scan results for analysis and assessment Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation Educate and reassure patients about procedures, addressing any questions or concerns Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of the care team
