1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 3+ years experience who is NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certified to rotate between two Nuclear Medicine departments. Details Rotates between two campus Nuclear Medicine departments alongside other full-time CTMs Floats between General Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology service lines, with cardiac-only rotation between campuses Monday-Friday day shift, 5x8 hours, approximately 6:30 AM-3:00 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM depending on campus Rotating on-call coverage 7 days a week required at Main Campus Weekend and holiday coverage limited to on-call only Level II Trauma, Acute Care Hospital setting Charts in Epic Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Current BLS certification (AHA only) Must be NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certified CNMT certification required SCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or CT required if applicable ARRT (CT) certification preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Experience required with bone scans (whole body and 3 phase), HIDA scans, GI bleed studies, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid imaging, thyroid uptake, renal scans with Lasix, lung scans, MUGA scans, WBC infection imaging, and MPI stress tests Radiation badge required and must be provided by the assigned agency Social Security number and driver's license required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Scrub color requirement is teal top with black bottom Block scheduling accommodations may be requested prior to assignment but are not guaranteed Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks Radius rule of 60 miles applies; local candidates considered at a reduced rate Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for approval consideration During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
