1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CNMT or ARRT (N) certification and at least 1 year of experience for a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department. Details Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Tech unit serving adult and pediatric patients Nuclear cardiology and general nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal, thyroid, and SPECT imaging Performs stress testing procedures including adenosine infusion, Persantine infusion, pharmacological stress, and thallium stress tests Additional procedures include HIDA scans, MUGA scans, PET scans, lung scans, and liver/spleen imaging Uses Siemens equipment Cerner charting experience preferred Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM On call as needed by facility Requirements CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required BLS required ARRT (N), CNMT, and NMTCB certifications preferred Minimum of 1 year of experience in the profession required Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE Experience with storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials License required if applicable Additional Information Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Local candidates not accepted
