Job Description:

The Advanced Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. This position prepares stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculates doses to be administered by radiologists. The position subject's patients to radiation, as well as executes blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Satisfactory completion of a formal education program accredited by A.R.R.T or a mechanism acceptable to the A.R.R.T. of

Society of Nuclear Medicine Required Certifications and Licensures:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technology or registered by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI).
