1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a day-shift clinic role in nuclear cardiology. Details Clinic setting focused on nuclear cardiology and neuro imaging Adult patient population Performs myocardial perfusion studies (exercise/rest single and multiple), pharmacological stress testing, brain scans, and cerebral blood flow studies Skills in shunt and abdominal studies required, ventricular studies preferred Knowledge of DaTscans and cardiac imaging helpful Epic EMR experience preferred 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM No weekends required No call required unless desired May be required to float between sister facilities Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required Current CNMT and BLS certification required WA State License required (license required if applicable) PET certification preferred Community hospital experience preferred Must be able to work independently Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE required Additional Information First-time travelers accepted Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process Former Providence-affiliated employees must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years Accepted at a reduced bill rate for candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
