Yes About the Role MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a busy Nuclear Medicine department serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department populations while performing a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate is proficient in general nuclear medicine studies, SPECT/CT imaging, IV starts, and has experience working with cardiac, oncology, pulmonary, and gastrointestinal patient populations. During the second half of the assignment, the technologist will rotate with staff to perform PET imaging at the affiliated Cancer Center. Department Volume General Nuclear Medicine:
2-3 technologists per day
Daily Volume:
Approximately 7-18 patients
PET Department:
1 technologist per day Approximately 5 PET patients daily with an independent workflow Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately Start peripheral IVs for imaging studies Operate SPECT/CT and PET imaging equipment Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety Educate patients regarding imaging procedures Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, oncology teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals Participate in the PET rotation at the Cancer Center during the second half of the assignment Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience NMTCB Certification Current BLS Certification Strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine principles and practices Experience with: Cardiac imaging GI imaging Pulmonary imaging Oncology studies PET imaging

On-Call Requirements:
One weekday call shift each week from end of shift until 6:00 AM the following morning One weekend of call every fourth weekend, beginning Friday at the end of shift through Monday at 6:00 AM Holiday call only, with the possibility of one holiday call assignment during the contract During the second half of the assignment, technologists will rotate to the Cancer Center (approximately one mile away) to perform PET scans All requested time off must be approved by the department manager
